The New Brighton Community Market
More than just a market!

Our market is an established community event that has been held in the New Brighton Mall since 2000.
We have a huge variety of stalls – offering handmade products from local crafts people and around the world, local produce and other interesting things you would hope to find at a local market.

We often provide live entertainment from some of New Brighton’s best loved musicians. From time to time we also showcase new, less well-known musicians, but you can be sure we always have great entertainment to create a warm & enjoyable atmosphere at the New Brighton Community Market.

We create a space each market day utilising the last piece of the New Brighton Mall - still traffic-free - where small children can run about safely (or play in the children’s play area) and you can shop, eat, and enjoy the music & being together at
New Brighton by the Sea.
Our information area offers local groups a space to share information and/or fundraise.

When:

First and Third Saturday of every month
10am-2.00 pm, weather permitting.

Where:

The New Brighton Mall (this mall runs from opposite the clock tower to the children’s play area at the edge of the slow road)

Stall Holders:
The market takes place in an area that has many food-orientated businesses and we are very careful not to compete with them. Apart from a sausage sizzle and regular bakery stalls, we have only a few food vendors.
We are also careful where our other shop owners are concerned.
If you have a product that you think we haven’t got at the market, or in the mall, give us a call, we’d love to hear from you.

Stalls cost $15 or $20 depending on the size.
Booking is recommended, especially in the Summer months as space is limited.
