blanket bank

Picture
The Blanket Bank was created in 2012.
It is a project of giving and receiving,  free from judgement, mahi a ngākau (work of the heart) which relies on donations of warm bedding from the public.

Every year we give out hundreds of items to support keeping whānau in our city warm.
Many homes in Otautahi are still insufficiently insulated and the cost of heating and bedding are often the hardest to manage.  We are committed to  supporting anyone who can benefit from our service.

Lets work together to keep our hapori warm.
