blanket bank

Given the COVID-19 situation, donations of used bedding to our Blanket Bank have been much lower than usual. This year monetary donations will be more important than ever.
With these donations we can purchase blankets, duvets etc to help us keep up with client requests.
Please consider donating to our Give a Little Page

Ngā mihi maioha
The New Brighton Blanket Bank was created in 2012.
It is a project of giving and receiving,  free from judgement, which relies on donations of warm bedding from the public.

In 2019 we gave out hundreds of items to support keeping families in our city warm.
Many Christchurch homes are still insufficiently insulated and the cost of heating is not going down.  We are committed to  supporting anyone who can benefit from our service.

Lets work together to keep Christchurch warm.
